Very cool trail. I'll get some pics up as soon as I can,but I think it's better than the first section down by Camelback. It's deffinitely a BLACK rating as of now,but the rocks are pretty brittle, and break easily,so it will most likely end up mostly a Blue as it gets beaten in,but there's two sections without bypasses that could keep it a BLACK,unless people start ruining it and making there own. Deffinitely cool though. rock

The trail itself is all marked and ready to go, I just have to put up beginning and end trailhead signs next weekend.  Thanks Blackwidow for help with the trail rating.  I'll be working on updating the map tonite.  Inside the park office, we now have a larger version of the map posted on the wall with new trail updates, you can see it there until we get new maps out.

Paving the hard trails and then saying they conquered them is like pissing in a snow cone and calling it lemon flavored.

The trail rating will be downgraded as the rocks get smoothed over from traffic.  And if it were rated blue right now, then folks would try and take stockers through and it's a long trail with no shortcuts out of there.  So it's black for the time being.

We ran it a couple weeks ago and most of the big rocks were just crumbling. Things smoothed out noticably just from our group.

Still a very cool trail.  rock

Its deffinitly a long trail and understandable about the rating.

I ran the first part of Snakebite this past weekend and loved it. Plan to do the third leg next time around.

I don't have lockers so I'm not upset about it being more blue than black.

PLEASE keep the loggers away from the South Property.

Did it in the snow today, not that bad at all.  Took a little more stupid pedal in some spots but not as bad as I expected considering the last two times I came up with snow/ice on the ground.
