Broad Mt Hunt Club Haunted Hay Ride

Next Sunday(oct 19th) at 1pm at our office we will be meeting with some of the members of the Broad Mt Hunt Club to discuss a haunted hay ride on our land.  The goal of this event is to have some fun (scaring people) and raising money for the hunt club to help with their lease.

Rausch Creek members have been asked if we want to come and help SCARE the crap out of people the last weekend in Oct.  So if you are interested in being apart of the 1st and hopefully annual hunted hay ride come out next Sunday or if you can’t make next Sunday email or PM one of us for more details.

Thanks
Bruce

C'mon guys and gals... need your help :O}

While the BMHC has a fair amount of participation, I am in need of some "Zombies" for the scene we are depicting.

It is the OPENING scene for the Haunted trail and it's a good one. The more "Zombies" we have, the better the effect. Once I get some interest (if any), I'll divulge the secret ;O}

I worked at the haunted forest down here in palmyra years ago, and it was the best job I ever had. I'll be around tomorrow anyway, so I'll stop in and have a listen. See if I can't lend a hand somehow.  biggrin

Family and making a living comes first, no one will fault you there bullfrog, myself included :O} Hopefully someone will get pics of the scene

OIIIIIIIO - Just listening in on the convo should give you an idea of the amount of effort put into making the entrance to the Haunted ride something only RC can come up with.. Used to create scenes for Hibernia's haunted trail for years. I'll second that notion of the best job I ever had... lol

To give you a hint, think Resident Evil - RCPD (Raccoon City - OR as you will Rausch Creek Patrol department) - we'll have a pretty elaborate scene with vehicles, blinking 4-ways, fog machines, RCPD "officers", Zombies, and Evanessence "Bring me to Life" kickin out loudly. All with full replicas of an MP5 and a tactical AR15 goin 2gunsfiring_v1 -pop-pop-popopopopopopop - :O} The C02 gas clouds lit by the tactical rail mounted lights and the laser sights flashing back n forth .. hehehe

Interested??? lol

It is fun watching Ken on "10" about this project arcadefreak 1zhelp

I'd love to help except Wayne hasn't figured out how to take care of himself yet on these crutches, so someone has to!!! Otherwise...I'd be there. Sounds like its gonna be fun. Hope you guys have a blast.

We meet with the hunt club today to go over details for the haunted hay ride.  We (RC) are going to man the part of the ride near our office and down part of trail A.  We are planning on a few ideas (ken chime in here) and we are looking for a few more people to come and help.

Saturday night dusk till whenever

Sunday night dusk till 10pm(ish)

The hunt club will be having a food cart at the office/wagon loading area.

This should be a great time so please come out to haunt or even just go for the ride.

Until we have some breathing bodies to help out, there's not much I can throw out there.

I put a call in to our son, he's bringing his life size skeleton/zombie up to decorate the trailside with it. We've also made adjustments to how the opening scene converts to the exite scene for the wagons. Give me the night to sleep on it and I'll throw some ideas and props for this...

I can't believe all these brave off-roaders are "afraid" to come out at night for a hay ride.. LOL

Bruce. i was thinking of the zip line on the way home. i have a snatch block, i think if we anchor the winch hook to one tree, then run the cable through the snatch block, we can actually spool the winch out so the cable droops, hook someone up to it and spool the cable in and it will pick them up.

i think it will work.

For all:

Does anyone have, have come across, know of some place, that has one or hopefully 2, "Talking Boris"???
A sound activated skull that the jaw would move. came originally with a microphone that they called a "Micro-Bone"

I'm in need of 2 of them..... I'll buy them outright, or if I can borrow them.

Have an Idea for the adults (and kids) near the wagon loading area for when they are waiting for a wagon to return.
