rock creek

first carnage of the weekend, broke the drag link off at the tie rod end. managed to bend it out kinda straight and get the tie rod threaded into what was left of the threads

stuck, this is the hole like right next to the 5' pit

came back for lunch, went to make a quick run, hmm, I've got like no steering at all. come back to camp low ridin'

broke the center pin and the u-bolt fell off the shoulder of the pumpkin, and lost 3 leaves. which we found the next morning. lol.

all back together after punching out both front leaf packs to 3/8" bolts. what a bitch. (pulled the other side and it was almost broken off)

lost

toy carnage, we were on trail 22 and he was like, @#$% my steering feels loose. checked it out on the trail and 2 of the 4 studs per side were broken.

the cherokee was having drive shaft problems. which was from his own stupidity of thinking he doesnt need rear shocks on it. ugh. after he fixed this, he broke the pinion yoke at the axle.

the other black jeep had his alt. seize up, so he was done. the blue dodge left earlier in the day because he stuff to do. so that left me as the sole surviver. plus my buddy who drove up in his yj, but didnt wheel it. so we went and played on the gauntlet. ran from top to bottom, then turned around and ran it from the bottom up. no pics going the other way, camera guy ran away.

posing with the owner of the 4-runner, who was spotting for me

seemed like nobody was having luck keeping their junk together this weekend. we helped out some other guys back at the campgrounds as best we could.
