REAR TUBE FENDERS
« on: July 18, 2010, 07:22:23 PM »
so scott dutter put up his rig to be the test rig for our rear tube fenders, we need to change somethings here and there but for the most part this is what they look like.

they will be sold as DIY and as bolt on, ball park price on DIY is probly around $150  bolt on around $300 each fender takes about 2 hrs to build in the diy kit and about 20 mins to install.

any feedback would be great one of the things we are changing is where the tube ends in the front and back.
as for right now we wanna install more of these to make sure there are no problems before the diy kits hit the streets. If you are will to be a test pig we will build and install them for a discount price. if you are interested please contact us.

you can keep the stock wheel well but you can trim them if need be, the trimming will let you remove metal in the area at the back and side where the tire always hits. we made this flares to pass all class one specs. As far as trimming and stuff

I'd like to see the tube 45 back in and taper off at the bottom back in to the body - perhaps a little wider at the top also

we did cut down the bottoms what you see is just like the start of a few ideas, as we mess with them they get better and better.

different sizes, this is why we are keeping the design simple to allow us to make it in just about any size you need. the diy kit will give you enough metal to make a 7.5 inch wide flare or with a grinder cut it down to a 3 inch flare
